This community has become mean spirited crushedman: It is very sad that this community has become so mean spirited. Over the past couple of days I have been called names, made fun of, and persecuted for my views. I have explained in previous threads that I may not be as smart as the rest of you. Instead of being accepted I am rejected. It reminds me of my life as a child. Kids were cruel- they would call me Slappy and pull my nose. They would beat me with sticks and rob my lunch money. Unfortunately, nothing has changed and it seems as though people will always hate me.

Just because someone disagrees with your point of view, it doesn't mean you're stupid. Don't take it so personally CM. ;D
Re: This community has become mean spirited yella: Here's one thing I've found, and take it as you may, but the more you argue every single point, and counter thought, the more negativity you bring upon yourself.
You spent so much time argueing with everyone that no one had a chance to see a real person. You can't change the way people see things, and you can't force your views upon the world. Sometimes you have to open up your mind to different ideas and views. How are you going to learn otherwise?
Maybe take a little time out and really see what others are saying. You just might learn something about yourself.
