A religious person told me it's not the end of the world.  There are far more devistating things that can happen to a person besides getting dumped and abandoned.

So I'm gonna try and think of a few.

I have my health.  A fatal illness would beat this hands down.

You're right, it *ISN'T* the end of the world..but it sure feels like it, doesn't it..

I have my son and my guitars. Either one of them makes me feel better.

And then there's.. umm.. C..who always manages to make me laugh..even when she's sick she always manages to make me smile.
Re: Things could be worse. allilm: I know I've mentioned it before, but my minister once mentioned in a sermon, that when you feel really down, go out and help someone worse off than you.  I've kinda had that mentality most of my life, always thinking of how blessed I am or thinking of others who have so much less than me.  I have too many blessing to begin to mention.

Re: Things could be worse. Ray.Banner: My, err...plumbing works. That's good enough for me!

The house is warm.

My belly is full.

My kids are sleep.

It's quite outside.

Them damn birds are finally sleep.

My clothes are ironed.

The dishes are done.

There's toilet paper on the spinning thinggy.

The phones not disconnected.

The icebox is full

I got my Pepsi.

Things could be a lot worse.

Re: Things could be worse. C-Note: Just made it to another day.  Things can't be that bad considering those who didn't.
