Some cold hearted people out there wouldn't have the honor or respect for the other to do that much. Breaking up/being dumped are all part of life for people who enter realtionships. I, personally, give her kudos for owning what she needs to do.
Re: Alright....need advice on how to break up with someone!! shockedandamazed: You know, it broke my heart to let him go. His personality was exactly what I was looking for and this was the first significant relationship I had since my divorce.
It just sucked, when I first met him, his passion and ambition in his work was at an all time high and throughout our relationship, I watched it steadily detiorate and he became less motivated and even at times, depressed. I tried to talk to him about it and he would always deny any kind of sadness. It made me feel like I was the reason his interest in his work had crumbled.
So, yes...the guy was very sweet to me and very patient with me. Yeah, that's great...but he also might have been clinically depressed. So, I am expected to hang around while the guy denies any problem just because he is nice?
I wish people wouldn't make sudden judgements here on OJAR without knowing the entire situation.
