I do think that sometimes we are with the right person, but at the wrong time in our lives. I'm actually now thinking that's why my husband left me (not that the way he suddenly left was admirable at all..he cut and run!)
I just think that maybe for him it wasn't the right time in his life to be with me. He has to fix himself and be a whole person before he can give anything to a relationship and make it work. Just wish he would've realized that BEFORE we got married! Oh well...I don't know your backstory, but I identified with your post...especially the lottery line. Classic :)
I know that when I'm having a battle between my heart and my head..I go with my "gut"..it seems to be somewhere in the middle of the two.
