The Big V just_me_detroit: I'm thinking about getting one before rejoining the dating world. Don't need anymore infants to take care of.
Anybody had one? How bad was it? How long did it take to recover?
Re: The Big V C-Note: I've talked to a few friends who had it done. They've never said anything that really pushed me over the fence. From what I hear there is not much pain. Literally snip snip and maybe a few days of discomfort. But that's what they say. ???
Re: The Big V chaotic: My friend just had it done. No stitches even. The numbed the area, used a large needle and did all the work thru that. He was hiking 2 days later. Took a while before he could sit on a bike, but he said no pain.
Re: The Big V big_daddy: Had it done about 2 years ago. It wasn't too bad. My doc did make two small incisions to do the work through, a few stiches as a result.
There was some discomfort and tenderness for a while...but nothing terrible. But for the first day or two...a couch and a rotating supply of frozen peas are your best friend.
Re: The Big V C-Note: I've got a hard time dealing with absolute certainty. Death and taxes seem to be the only things I can handle right about now. Not that I need to worry about repopulating the world or anything, but geez for no good reason I can't seem to figure out why I would not consider this.
