i've had 6 wisdom teeth removed (yes, that's 6...i had extras), and i had a root canal at the start of the year, that just got capped at the end of the month.
if i can say anything, it's at least you are getting it taken care of, and you are not in pain. if it was to absess, you would be totally miserable, what i had to go thru. the pain was so bad, i was barfing the morning i went to the dentist.
and i feel your pain for your money....with the combo of my root canal and the cap, the root canal took all of my coverage money, and the cap came out of pocket. still paying that sucker off, and will until sometime next year.

worse than I thought. I have to see an oral surgeon and they have to cut my freakin jaw open. :-\
