Re: Moments that warm your heart. big_daddy: When my son was in first grade and we had meet the teacher night....at each parent's seat was a little page that said, "When I grow up I want to be..." with a picture they drew of what they wanted to be and then they wrote in their answer.
Lots of kids wanted to be firefighters, army men, police officers, doctors, etc. Not my son...
I've had it up on my corkboard at work since the very next day, that was over two years ago now.
What did he wanna be? There was a picture of two people, one big, one small, standing in the grass holding hands (granted this is a 1st grade picture, makes it even better)....and below the picture it says:
