The truth of the matter is when I really like someone...there are typically no gaps and I do what I say I'll do (call, etc.). If it's someone I'm feeling a little "meh" about, I'll notice that I'm less responsive (I'll let the call go to voicemail, not rush to connect again, etc.)
I'm starting to realize that if I'm not REALLY into him from the start, I ultimately end up in this *thing* that just gets more awkward as time goes on. I'm trying to get better about that.
And it's true - he could be dating others. There again, when I've done that in the past, it's because I hadn't met someone I was REALLY interested in enough to zone in on. Just juggled around for a bit.
BTW - I only date one at a time anymore. Waaaaayy to complicated for me!

No, no, no. Nothing like that. There was one very short period where I had two male "friends". Yanno, like the kinds of friends where you turn real quick to make the kiss hit the cheek. :-\
