Where to even start?
.

Where to even start? leikitornot: My stbx and I moved in together right after college, so I never really did the dating thing in my twenties.  Now I'm 32 years old, the mother of two small children, and I don't even know where to begin.

I don't have a lot of friends where I live, let alone single friends, and my entire family is six hours away.

How do I even start trying to find a "date" let alone someone who will want to date a mom.  Any advice?
Re: Where to even start? Lumpy:   I believe they have dating sites and organizations that are specifically for single parents. Can't remember the names though.

Re: Where to even start? unicorn: You can go to http://www.meetup.com where you can subscribe your self to single parents group, and lot other groups that you can join. I am sure it will definately help you out.

Be good, take good care of yourself and Wish you all the best....

Avoid online dating (just my opinion ok) as much as you can...

Avoid long distance relationships also if you can

The Java house's have family nights and things like that

Church groups if you are into that (Not for me)

If you lived in the South see they have dances for this stuff...LOL but no kidding...

UMMMM

Meeting dates through friends is good and bad depending on how things work out ya know

The Library is a good place sometimes...

The bar if the guy is not a life time Alcoholic

If ya wanna know the truth...

I meet dates by just walking up where ever and saying Hi with a big smile and striking up a conversation

Hard to explain...

You could meet a "date" anywhere

It is how you come across that makes the difference...

Don't be afraid to ask someone out...

So many women have "so" many guys that want to go out with them but guys don't always ask

Keep that in mind ok that you do have the "advantage"...

IMO
