Unknown and unforeseen
Make me catch my breath in wonder
Shock and betrayal sliced me deep and razor thin
Blood seeping thru the cracks where my heart exists no more
Burning eyes and burning blood
Leave behind a hollowed shell
In an instant and a twist sharp and cruel yet soft as a whisper
All the pieces shatter out and scatter to the wind
A moan like the wind riding the back of a storm
She wakes up alone from her nightmare.
