Well, I suppose this should go here.... AngelBaby: We just found out about an hour ago, that J's mom has cancer. :'( It's not cureable, and I don't know much else at this point. They gave her 3 weeks.

My J's mother died of cancer (long before J and I met) -- she had more warning, a couple of years, but it still seemed sudden.

Oh gosh... my thoughts are with J's mum. I am going through a similiar thing with my stepfather, he was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer over 12 mths ago which will slowly but surely take his life - it's so horrible!

Re: Well, I suppose this should go here.... AngelBaby: She's got the cancer in her lungs, lymph nodes, and liver. She is starting Chemo tomorrow, but I don't know what's going to happen.
And then, J tried calling in to work tonight so that we could go see his mom, and they told him he didn't have anyone to cover for him, so he HAD to come in. He's been at the company for 3 freakin years, and he has never once called in, and they wouldn't let him off work for ONE FUCKING NIGHT? I am SO SO SO PISSED!
