The following statements are contradictory:
a: Leo's accent came and went
b: Leo did a great job with the accent
These are polar opposites, and thus illogical.

I said I will not debate you on the movie, but I will not let you twist my words:
I said exactly "I agree Leo's accent came and went, overall he did a good job". A little reading comprehension goes a long way. Can you do anything without trying to start shit around here?
Re: Blood Diamond crushedman: WP-
When you make the following statement I agree Leo's accent came and went, overall he did a good job". , it's reasonable to assume that the 'good job' you are referring to pertains to his accent. This is because the 'good job' comment is in the same sentence as the 'I agree that Leo's accent came and went', so at worst, this sentence is highly misleading if you meant 'he did a good job besides the fact that his accent came and went'. Furthermore, the VERY FACT that his accent came and went lends itself towards Leo NOT doing a good job (with the accent or otherwise), so you did in fact contradict yourself regardless.

Well, I don't know how "reasonable" your assumption is cm, but I think you perhaps make it simply because it reinforces your desired point.
That said, however, when I took English Composition oh so long ago in college, we used a small text on grammar called "The Little Book" by William Strunk and E. B. White. It is classic text on writing the English language.
To wit:
[hr">
5. Do not join independent clauses by a comma.
If two or more clauses, grammatically complete and not joined by a conjunction, are to form a single sentence, the proper mark of punctuation is a semicolon.
[hr">
So, in this case, the sentence cm raises the issue with is, indeed, ambiguous. It should be edited to either create an independent clause by adding "but" or by using a semicolon instead of the comma.
So...
I agree Leo's accent came and went; overall he did a good job.
or
I agree Leo's accent came and went, but overall he did a good job.
or even (but not recommended)
I agree Leo's accent came and went, but, overall, he did a good job.
would appear to assuage cm.
Re: Blood Diamond crushedman: Sheeps-
Clearly I'm not the grammatical genius that you are. However, the fact remains that WP contradicited himself, as I explained in my aforementioned, albeit gramatically incorrect, post.

Re: Blood Diamond crushedman: Blood Diamond just wasn't a very a good movie.
1. Jennifer Connolly is AWEFUL (but I'd still hit it)
2. How many bullets did Leo dodge in the movie? (seriously, the dude ran through torrets of bullets in 3 or 4 scenes)
3. Why did Leo stop struggling at the end? Anyone notice that he seemed WAY to alive to be dieing and give up?
