Sheeps-
Clearly I'm not the grammatical genius that you are. However, the fact remains that WP contradicited himself, as I explained in my aforementioned, albeit gramatically incorrect, post.

How about I shove that santa hat up your ass and we call it a day? You know what I meant, add something of value to this website or get a life and move on.
Re: Blood Diamond katelyn: Hahahhahaha!
Well anyway, the reason I loved the movie was simply because it so rawly (is rawly a word?) educates you on a subject I was maybe like halfways even aware of.
I'm not extremely picky about acting ability but I certainly know a bad actor from a good one. Leo exceeded my expectations anyway. I thought he did really well. There were a couple parts where I thought the accent sounded a little weaker than others... but I haven't seen anyone else attempt an african accent so I give him props.
Re: Blood Diamond Lumpy: Saw this last night. Very well written and acted. Thumbs up. Suck it, CM!

This movie was riveting. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I find myself wanting to learn more about Africa just by watching this. I was disgusted, moved, fascinated, horrified, and inspired all at once. Wow...
One thing that irritated me though was at the end it says "It is up to the consumer to insist on conflict-free diamonds."
Riiiiigghht. Like an industry would ever tell a consumer they're buying conflict diamonds. Give me a break. My bf said "You still want 2 carats?" and I said "The thought makes me sick to my stomach."

You are spot on about "clean" diamonds. Often they're trafficked through supposedly clean countries but still are funding the atrocities. Unless I dig a diamond myself out of the one American mine I would rather pass on having any diamonds at all.
Re: Blood Diamond Temporary: I prefer emeralds, myself. :)
I was a little cautious about this movie, but ended up really getting into the story. Well made and done without a lot of the obvious Hollywood tricks to get the message across.
