Re: Blood Diamond Whirlpool: CM likely loved it, just stirring it up as usual. But we will never know will we? Don't bother CM, I won't reply to get this thread going your way dude. Will not even visit it again.

I agree Leo's accent came and went, overall he did a good job. The movie was excellent, I love the african actor, I won't even try to remember his name. He goes off on that rebel commander lol.
Re: Blood Diamond crushedman: WP-

The following statements are contradictory:

a: Leo's accent came and went
b: Leo did a great job with the accent

These are polar opposites, and thus illogical.

Re: Blood Diamond hudson: Ok listen, if you've never heard a white Zimbabwean(formerly Rhodesian) speak, then don't pretend like you know anything about what the accent should sound like.

Re: Blood Diamond crushedman: Blazin-

I don't pretend... but I do know his 'accent' changed from American to back to American several times in the movie.  Agreed?

Re: Blood Diamond hudson: I thought he did a very good job with a really difficult accent.  I didn't hear him revert to the American accent.  Then again, I only saw in once in the theatre and was fairly caught up in the action and storyline.
