Re: Powdah Room 12/20 kimberly:  I'd have to say clothing.  I hate when my x would buy me something he thought was totally hot and I would think it looks like something malibu barbie* would wear.  He would get so pi$$ed if I did'nt wear it??!
 Kitchen gadgets never excited me either.
Re: Powdah Room 12/20 Crystal_Blue_024: I'd say don't buy a woman anything too "practical." Most women don't want a vacuum cleaner, a ceiling fan, or a toaster over for a holiday... Sure, we may want one, but don't buy it as a gift for us for a real holiday, just buy it as a suprise gift...

PS - All of the above mentioned gifts were given to my mom on holidays by her EX husband (LoL).

Re: Powdah Room 12/20 Alphabet Girl: Short of maybe saying don't buy me clothes just because it is so hard to find things that fit me - I'd be happy with anything I got.
Re: Powdah Room 12/20 yella: I agree... most women work hard during the year, like men do. The last thing I want is something women were supposed to consider great gifts back in the 50's!! No thanks.

Clothing is out too.  ::)

Gifts should be things that pamper your SO, not make work "easier".  ::) IMO...

That was my ex's reasoning.
