My husband left me in our old place, but I can't move because I live in an expensive city myself.
So what I did was that I threw away all the furniture and started brand new. I even had the place repainted - went out and bought Benjamin Moore paints and had them re do the entire place.
It looks very nice now - a whole lot better than when he was here! :)
Re: I got a new place today ... PrincessKapow: abandoned, I will not be getting back with my husband unless he is willing to receive help for his drinking problem and/or mental health issues. Like I told him, I will be out of the house for a year, regardless of what happens between us.
There is nothing I want more than to work things out with my husband. I refuse, however, to be treated like a doormat.
