just met a new girl and I have been out of the game so long.... MrCheyny: I ran across this girl on the computer last night that I have not seen in years. She confided in my friend a few months ago that she used to have a crush on me. He did not tell me because I was married. Not the case any longer.
I am so excited at the thought have going out and having fun, but I have not dated in 7 years... :-[ So, I sent her an email last night saying hello and that I would love to catch up sometime. She replied right back saying of couse she would like to meet up, she has just been busy around the holiday.
I know that being myself is the only way to be, but there are some unwritten rules....Do I not contect her until after Christmas, can i reply with a hello tonight? Not trying to scare her off and come on too strong....ugh this dating thing.
I am probably making to much out of it and shloud just be me, its just scary jumping back in after all the time out of the pool.

Ok, here, look, just contact her as YOU feel comfortable. And also get to see how SHE feels. If she says she's busy during the holidays, just drop a note now and then to say hey and DON'T press for the meeting bit. Give her the space she needs.
You're not making too much about it. Just cool down, be yourself and respect what she's saying. No rush.
