single, moving on/moved on
.

single, moving on/moved on pointless: alot of people ask how do u cope with moving on, i want to know how do u know uve moved on? when do u suddenly realise your over them.

i think im over my partner, shes with another guy i feel no jealousy or anything and i am happy for her. but then again i still think of her sometimes?

why do i think of her?
Re: single, moving on/moved on tripny2k6: Bc you have history with her. Hell, I thing about girl thats I dated back in high school still. Wonder what they're up to, etc.

Re: single, moving on/moved on pointless: thanx, so i shudnt be like tellin myself of for thinking abt her. its just normal.
theres so many women i like but i never have the guts to go upto one and just start chatting. any help or tips on how to do so, how to become confident??
Re: single, moving on/moved on lonewolf: Its normal to still think about a past S.O. I think about mine all the time. Granted its less as days go by and i don't think about her sexually or if she's doing the nasty with her new guy, because that will just anyone.

But do try and stop those thoughts. That's one thing the people here on Ojar kept telling me. And i tell you what, its done wonders.

I'm happy now with myself. I have loathed myself for such a long time that i wasn't able to give the love i thought i was capable of. Yes i'm still learning how to love myself before i fully commit to someone again, but at least now i can feel its actually possible, unlike 2 months ago.

Be brave, brother. To think of her is normal, but fight those thoughts as well. Focus on you. Do things that make YOU happy. You don't know how much it helps.
Re: single, moving on/moved on 2be: Yeah you'll always think of them from time to time.  Hell, my 8th grade girlfriend just tracked me down through myspace... adn I've thought about her over the years.  You can't forget your history, whether good or bad (unless you have some sort of massive head trauma  ;D).

I think it is safe to say that you're over them when you see them/think about them and don't have any sort of NEGATIVE feeling.  You can have emotions and feelings, but if it is in any way negative, then you're still working through the baggage.
