Re: Need help with gift Peaceandquiet: I think just about every kid in my neighborhood has them now.. They are much easier than rollerskates. I took my daughter and two of her frieds to Walmart last night and all three of them were wearing theirs ( I forgot mine) it was so cool to see them all just gliding through the store. I think about half the other kids in the store were wearing them too.

Re: Need help with gift JadedButtafly: my daugther wanted a pair of those for xmas but santa was too broke lol my son well he wants a basket ball hop for his birthday so without thinking i bought one but the freakng thing is an in door one that is electronic and i live in a mobile home, wasn't thinking! so now i have to sell that in the local area and go and find him something else. If i had a houe with a basment or somethinig for them to play in it'd be fine :-\
Re: Need help with gift Cherry: Im in the same boat. Living in duplexes and we cannot do anything that has to be outside. It wouldn't last a day before it was destroyed or stolen. :-\ Cant even keep his bike there. Isn't that sad??
Re: Need help with gift Chey: Ok this is probably me being a freak again :-\ but when my step son turned 7 I got him a metal detector I purchased on eBay for a great price. We used to go driving around the country side looking for Roman treasure. It got him out of the house away from his playstation, and we were learning history at the same time.
Geeky I know, but we had some great times together :)
