its easy to reflect/remember the times together,and believe me i miss it ..
Takes time,time does heal ,, bottom line is you have to keep on living/loving/laughing ,,(sounds so simple)but Life really is too short ,,and rather then missing what you had or dwelling on the things you dont have ,be thankfull for what you do have :)
im definitly thankfull i found this site good people here, helps to know your not alone and life really does go on...

Will she always have a place in my mind shatteredc: Im concerned that because she was my first love that she is always going to have a place in my mind and will always have that power. Is this true?? I just don’t want her in my mind anymore and definitely not forever… I know I will EVENTUALLY get over her but it feels like she will always have something over me if that makes sense……?
Any advice will be much appreciated… thanks again people for listening to my crap :(
Re: Will she always have a place in my mind 2be: Well, as far as I know no one has invented a memory erasing maching so I'm afraid you're stuck with the memory of her. However, that memory will dull with time and will just become another experience that makes you who you are.
You are the only person that can allow anyone or anything to have emotional power over you. If you allow this memory of her to dominate you it will.

I want to remember the memories with her as good times, I dont want them to depress me as they are now. But I guess its only been a month, time will change this I suppose... I hope..

She will forever have a place in your heart and in your memory, but as time goes on, that memories won't cause you pain... She will become another part of your past, and that is it...
