Doesnt sound like such a bad idea to me. As long as you understand tha tis all it would be and dont expect anything else.
I dont think you can blame her for the fact that she made a mistake and married a psycho cheating stalker. Red flag? I dont necessarily think so, now dating HIM would be the red flag IMO.
