2nd chance at happiness
Re: Lonely night tripny2k6: Just make sure by avoiding the things that remind you of her you are not avoiding the opportunity to properly deal with your pain. I did that once. I used to have this unfortunate skill in turning off my emotions. Problem is, it doesnt last forever. It catches up to you eventually. Better to deal with it now and learn from it than to go through this again down the road. It seemed to hit me a couple of years later once I became comfortable in life again.

Re: Lonely night Zipsfb: True... how did you finally deal with it?  I have a hard time distinguishing between dealing with painful emotions and dwelling on the past.  Seems to be a fine line in between.
Re: Lonely night tripny2k6: I personally think that they both go hand in hand. Youre in mourning, of course you are going to dwell on the past for awhile. But eventually you will find it more appealing to do other things that make you happy instead of think about the things that bring you down. I believe they would call this acceptance. :-)
