Re: Why Don't Men Know How To Use The Phone? lghawaiian: I wouldn't sweat it. He may have been a little tipsy last night, and went right to bed, then maybe gotten into something at work. He could have lost his phone too. If he were I, and the reason were innocent, I would be bothered by your assumptions.
Don't assume that just because he didn't call you he did something to deserve your ire. Relax. :)
Re: Why Don't Men Know How To Use The Phone? superwife: You said you left him a message yesterday? You're on a 'daily' communication schedule? How long have you been together?
Just send him a 'hi' text, ask him how the game was. Act like nothing is wrong. There is a chance (esp if this is the first offense) that he did not get the message. You know, like he didn't realize he had a message in his box.
Just don't play the 'why didn't you call me' game. It's so not worth it.

Re: Why Don't Men Know How To Use The Phone? jmarie: Hey you guys,
Quick update. So I'm glad I vented my frustrations and fears here with you all, because once I did, I felt fine. I spent the rest of that evening watching re-runs of Sex and the City (my favorite) and had a good chat with a friend which did not include any boy information.
Guess who called me like, 10 minutes later, from work, no less?
The bf! And he was all, "I'm sorry that I didn't call you back last night, I passed out after the game, there was a little TOO MUCH celebrating going on! Can I see you tonight?"
Me: "I was a little disappointed when I didn't hear from you, but I figured you were having a good time partying. Yeah, let's get together tonight."
So, yay. Thanks everyone for letting me vent and for letting me get my little neuroses out there. I was able to (rightfully) play it cool with him, and he is so amazing, sweet and considerate to give me a quick call that morning from his work (which he takes really seriously).
