Re: How? Phoenix5822: It may not help everyone, but I poured myself into books.  Basically anything to distract your mind.  It's not easy, and it certainly doesn't always work, but anything that helps is a bonus, right?  Try something by Tom Clancy (involved and technical, so you have to really pay attention to follow it), or Dean Koontz (a suspense).  ((hugs))  Hope it passes soon....

Re: How? atlgirl777: Stay busy!  Every time the thought comes into your mind make your self think something happy!  You can do it!  I did...........a year out and I could give a sh*t who he is f*cking...........but those first 6 months were torture.  Just try it everything it comes to mind........think of something or someplace that you love!  It helps and again stay busy!!!  If the "happy place" doesn't seem to help start doing something!  Get up and get moving, it helps take your mind off of it!  ((((((((hugs)))))))))))  I know what you are going through....this too shall pass!  ;)

How? lonewolf: How do you get the image of them f*cking out of your head?
Re: How? Crystal_Blue_024: Hey hun... I know it sucks... You wish there was some magical switch we could just flip to make the thoughts stop, make the images stop, unfortunately there isn't... The nights seem to be the worst for me, with the images, and "what ifs" just tormenting me... The most you can do is try to occupy your mind with other thoughts... I know that's easier said than done, but ya gotta try... I find reading or watching interesting movies can help too.. Hang in there... (((( HUGS ))))
Re: How? lonewolf: Crystal, Clarice, thanks for the quick replies.

It's almost 4 months, and i've tried so damn hard not to think about *them*.

But lately it's tormenting me with 10 times the intensity, so bad that i can even hear her screaming dirty things at him.

I want to hate her too Clarice. So, so bad.
