i know it's mean..but this is my kid we're talking about.

no way i'm risking her safety or ours for a dog. love animals to death but that's just a risk i can't take.
Re: cold hearted...literally sassonfool: I don't know what your specific situation is...but there's no way I'd risk a bite to my kid (my stbxh would have my butt in court SO fast!). You did the right thing! I'm an animal rescuer and work with lots of different org's (in AZ though) did you call animal control just to let them know? Not sure I would want a dog that was tied up back with the owners who did that... but then hey- you bite my kid/bf/me- you outta here!
