Yeah, that's sad.
I've been a gamer most of my life.. The game will be there later or tomorrow. Heck, I am immersing myself in a new game over the past week or so..but I have not played it since Monday because I had other things that needed to be taken care of. Sure, I wanna play..but I'm very much a "pay before you play" guy.. I will always handle my responsibilities before engaging in leisure activities.
She never once tried to distract me. Not a single time. When she started playing, I was in much of the same boat as you. I did nearly everything I could to distract her short of simulating power failures to get her to notice me. *sigh*

Yep. you're right. it's like a drug. the only way you're going to reform a junkie is if the junkie wants to be reformed.
..and if my stbxw would have tried that, I would have hit the reset button on the computer. I wouldn't have even worried about logging out..and I woulda been all over her.
Re: I don't know what to think. darkrose: Clarice, I'm surprised. I woulda been all over it if the stbxw would have made an effort. Sometimes I gamed to get her to pay attention to me..to try to seduce me for once..To make some moves on ME for a change.. But of course, that never worked.

I'm like darkrose, i been a gamer all my life but lately with the divorce, being abandoned and broke, moving and rebuilding my life; I haven't touched a game in months. Just bothers me that so many people paint with such a broad brush.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllll.... I wouldn't say I've touched a game in months..I upgraded my computer and had to make sure the video card was as awesome as I thought it was... but the thing is I know when I need to walk away. My house is completely clean, and all I'm doing is laundry now. There's nothing to say I can't go kill a couple monsters while I'm waiting on laundry.... :)
