The paperwork has begun. Kinney26: The stbx and I went to the lawyer today to lay out the terms of the dissolution. We are sharing custody, she actually agreed for me to be the residential parent, so he will have my address. It went as smooth as it could I guess, no arguing or anything. We should get the dissolution paperwork in the mail in the next week to go over and sign. This still sucks, I still don't understand why it had to come to this.
Went to my first workout at the gym after the lawyer and do I feel like crap.

I'm sorry that the meeting didn't shake anything within her emotionally about the weight of all of it.
Re:The paperwork has begun. Kinney26: The only small flare up was when the subject of how we were going to work my sons birthday because I hadn't thought about that. My ex had some kind of suggestion, I don't remember exactly, but the lawyer left the room for a second and I said this sucks. Well as long as your happy I guess that is all that matters, right? She said that's bullsh*t. I said, no it's not that is what this whole thing is about, I don't want this. She said, could you ever trust me in your life if I came back, and if you say yes you are lying. I said I would eventually be able to trust you if you proved to me that I should. It would get easier as the time went by, but it would be hard at first. Lawyer came back. We left and she was getting into her car, and I said, yes I would eventually be able to trust you again. She just put her head down and got in the car. Suprisingly I did not feel overly depressed when I left. That is a good sign.
