But all jokes aside.. I know what you mean. Just be prepared.. some of these guys have real anger issues and like to hurt people. Hopefully the knowledge and training you have already will help you there. Just relaying my experience.
I trained in Jujitsu, Integrated Grapling, Jeet Kun Do, Kun Tao, and Kali/Escrima. A few of the guys I work with at the bar do grappling, taekwando jujitsu stuff... I try not to spar with them. You'll figure it out.

I am know I will be dealing with guys with anger and agression issues. I figure this is at least a somewhat controlled setting to spar in.
That's awesome that you have trained in Jeet Kun Do. I would love to find a school here in CO. We do have a shaolin school. Perhaps I will go there too.
If nothing else, I will know whether or not its for me after one or two sessions.

When I was in the military, I took Kyusho Jitsu and Dim Mak (both are pressure point fight styles), as well as Tai Chi, and I loved it! Actually used it in RL a few times. Like Joker, I was a bouncer...though I don't think I really saw as much action as he does on a month-to-month basis... ;)
I would be interested in joining something like that, if I had the time or money. Haven't had too much of either, lately...
