I dont understand, Men that dont want to have sex vdc_1975: This is completely and absolutely foreign to me. Weirdest F%$KING thing I have ever heard of.
L, My best friend, her exh didnt want to have sex with her.
L, a co-worker, her ex boyfriend didnt want to have sex with her.
A, a co-worker, her exb, before her husband, didnt want to have sex, she went without it for 3+ years!!!!
T, a co-worker(different job), her husband doesnt have sex with her either, though this is due to medical and alcohol issues.
J, a friend of my best friend L, her 2nd husband didnt want to have sex with her, and was the cause for their eventual divorce. Her claim was that he used up all is testosterone bodybuilding, none left over for fueling his sex-drive. She said other women at the gym complained of the same thing.
IMO all of these women are considered attractive at the least, and several(actually most) are just plain smoking ass hot. Outside of J(friend of a friend) I know them all very well. None of them are "bitchy" or have attitudes, etc. They are all very pleasant and fun to be around socially and have solid heads on their shoulders. I know that most of them would be what I consider "mid/high maintenance", but really what woman isnt? In fact I think alot of men are more high mainenance than women.
So what gives??!?!?!?!
On the Bob and Tom radio show, Bob has said several times in the past when some celebrity couple splits, the woman obviously hot, and the guy cheated on her, " You show me a gorgous woman, and Ill show you a guy tired of sleeping with her." That thought just blows my mind.
My stbxw and I had a good to great sex life IMO thru our 8+ years of marriage, in a reecnt conversation with her, she agreed. My sex drive is pretty much stable IMO and at times I think it is actually going up not down. I run, I lift weight 1-2 times a week, I eat decent.
So WTF is up with men who dont want to have sex with these wonderful women that are part of their lives and they have gotten lucky enough to be with?!?!?

Actually his work is probably a major reason why he's neglecting his wife's needs. His profession and his hobby are the same. He's got pretty much the same equipement for conducting his work at home and in some cases better equipment then he has availible to use at work.
For him his passion and his lifes work is way out of wack in relation to everything else about his world and he's perfectly happy. I've pulled him away to go fishing a few times and it's good to see him enjoy something else. I don't know what his wife will do in the long run. They have no kids and she's pretty much ripe for the picking if not by him then someone else.

But what gives is that eventually an immature guy grows up, and gets to the point in his life where it doesn't matter anymore if the chick is "smoking ass hot" if she has a bitchy attitude and treats him like crap. Eventually they finally realize that life isn't all about sex anymore.
Remember two things:
1) Beauty outside does not always equal beauty inside.
2) The way a person makes you feel(emotionally) will always/eventually take precedence over the way he or she looks.

And in at least 3 of the above situations that I listed, the women decided to go elsewhere when their needs were not met. Those being sexual and emotional needs. I have been telling my best friend that her needs are more emotional than sexual, and she finally has grudgingly agreed with me. The simple truth IMO is that when a man ignores a woman emotionally it could lead to her being "ripe for the picking" ie an emotional affair. Add in the lack of a sexual connection with a spouse or boy friend, and that is when it crosses a different line....
I guess some guys dont make their wife/girlfriend's sexuality a priority over other things. I have talked often with 4 of the 5 above, and they all say that it causes LOTS of anxiety and self doubt about themselves.

But, sex is a very, VERY important part to keeping a relationship, a good healthy relationship going, especially given how sexual our society has become and how quickly and easily people are dicarded(divorced) when someone else appears to be able to fill the void.

1.) Hence why I stated I know a 4 of 5 very well and they are all great people, beautiful inside and out.
2.) Agreed, but when you ignore a woman sexually, it will affect her emotions. In all the cases above, these women were ignored emotionally as well. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional or lying. It leads to questions of am I ugly?? am I bad in bed?? I cant turn him on. etc......
