Re: Is complimenting necessary? Temporary: You know, that's a very good point. I have found that I talk more with strangers in airports than anywhere else. Probably because we all have a common enemy - the ticket counter people.
Re: Is complimenting necessary? C-Note: Hey, my job involves a little travel. Sometimes working lunch is held in Chillis, Ruby Tuesdays, local diners and pubs. I'm at the mercy of my host at that point till I get back to my hotel room.
