.

Re: Tax Filing snkpack: Well not knowing your income (tax bracket), I'd say if you make an average salary and paid a full year of interest on your home and have a filing status deducting the maximum tax withheld, you'll probably get back in the neighborhood of $2000.  Unless you have some weird other issues . . . .  financially I mean.  ;)
Re: Tax Filing chaotic: Yeah, owned the house all year.  My W2 says I am single.  I was a full time student for 1 semester last year (divorce screwed up the rest of my year).

Re: Tax Filing chaotic: This is my first year filing as a single home owner.  Am I screwed since I dont have kids?
Re: Tax Filing snkpack: NO.  Depends on how much interest you've paid on your home and your filing status.  Have you owned the house all year?
Tax Filing snkpack: Has anyone done it yet?

This is my first year as a homeowner.  I'm expecting a nice cushy return.
