Re: Tax Filing YellowJacket: Goose, Snibs -- if you two are getting back around $6K, shouldn't you work with your employer to change your withholding? Seems like a waste to give the government that interest-free loan. Or do you not have options there?
Re: Tax Filing smokin: i am actually weighing that all in...........
the end of the year tax return, lets me pay my house taxes, and other things, helps get caught up on bills, so im not sure what to do......
if i lowered my withholding, i can only go down about 59. a week, so im not sure if it will help me more, or less.......
i like the big money at the end. but suxs to let goverment have interest on it...
Re: Tax Filing big_daddy: I used to get those big fat 5-6k returns....I've been maximizing paychecks the last 2 years. I miss the refunds. I'm switching back.

This will be my first year living in an apartment.
I lose my head of household, 2 dependents, real estate taxes, married filing jointly, and a host of other stuff. I am expecting to pay, Big Time.
Anybody ever do that?

I lost the house and we split on claiming the kids, so I've had a taste of what you're talking about. On the plus side, me and my fiancee are closing on a house this month! So next year should be better. Keep truckin' Wize.
