STBX called - wants to talk... Bubba: Well my stbx called and is coming over tomorrow night to talk. I asked if she just wants to talk about the splitting of assets. She said that, and other things. I told her to come over tomorrow night because I should have the separation agreement with me for her to sign. Or at least take with her and go to her lawyer. I would laugh if it was because she has decide she wants to get back together. Because I realized, that I no longer want to get back together. I just hope I feel that way when she is sitting in front of me. Though I am sure I will. I gave her another chance when I caught her cheating. And her repayment....she kept on cheating!!!!

Re:STBX called - wants to talk... recentlydiscarded: I share similar feelings towards my s2bx. At this point I know in my heart that I myself am better off without him. He has been emotionally abusive towards me for years and done his best to put my self esteem in the dumps.
Unfortunately this whole thing is still so fresh that I still have this tremendous amount of love for him in my heart and I am afraid that if he asked me back I would do it because I still care and because I want my son to grow up with both of his parents.
It's a scary thing and only time will tell how you will handle that possibility, but keep reminding yourself to be strong and not make any rash decisions based on unstable emotions.
Gosh it sounds so good when I say it....I hope I can take my own advice if I am faced with that scenario :)

Re:STBX called - wants to talk... Bubba: Honestly - I doubt she is coming over to talk about reconciling. After all she did just buy a house with the OM. More then likely it is to talk about the assets. How we are going to handle moving day so we don't cross paths. I am worried she maybe wanting to try for full custody of our son. However, she has no money to fight me in court on that one.
If she does want to talk about getting back together. Not a chance at this point. Perhaps if she gets a new job. If she gets out of living with him. In other words proves she is not with the other guy and she actually wants to work it out. Even then,,,,I honestly don't know if I would. I really like the girl I am dating. She has all of my STBX's assets, and none of STBX's major faults. Plus the girl I've been dating does make a nice 6 figure salary! lol
Re:STBX called - wants to talk... picadilly: yo Bubba. I think you have the right of it. It's hard to trust someone that has hurt you so much, plus this new girl of yours has so much potential to be a great love that it's hard to see your giving up on it without atleast trying to see where it goes.
Your stbx had her chances. Lets move on, up up & away, buddy.
