Re:STBX called - wants to talk... Bubba: Thanks Pic! And you hit the nail on the head. I like this new girl. She is very smart - university educated. Works out 7 days a week! So she has one of the best bodies I've ever seen. Right up there with this Olympic swimmer I dated once. Great job. Financially stable. Never wanted to have kids of her own, but rather saw herself as more of a good step parent. Plus, she, like myself, is a communicator. My stbx never was. My stbx always chose to ignore a problem rather then talk about it. And well, you can see how that turned out!
So yeah - I owe to myself to see where this will go with the new girl. My stbx had more then enough chances. The situation reminds of on the last scene from "Swingers". Mikey, after wanting his ex back through the whole movie, finally meets up with this hot girl he really likes. It is at that moment, that the Ex finally calls him. And what does our man Mikey do? Well his call waiting beeps. It is the new girl. Mikey ditches the ex to talk to the new girl. He is finally over the ex. I feel like that at the moment. And it feels darn good.

I feel for you Recentlydiscarded. I too do not want my children growing up without both of their parents raising them together. The family circle has been severed.
