Court Date Off Again incoherentlonghorn: What is wrong with this scenario?
s2bx: I want this over now, I can't handle this anymore
s2bx attorney then cancels our final court date....
Is it me or do these two actions/comments not correlate???
If you think your court date is F-I-N-A-L...I have learned that you shouldn't count on it until you're standing in front of the judge, otherwise your heart will rise and fall at the whim of someone who's sole purpose is to hurt you. :-\
He has filed for an objection to an associate judge...our judge, judge judy...we we're requried to file with her.....now the court date is OFFFFFFFFFF... >:(
WHY would he file an objection and request a senior judge if he wants to settle out of court?????????
A) He is screwing with my sanity
B) His attorney wants to squeeze every penny out of him
C) ?????
STILL VENTING:
The ornery part of me wants to pick a fight and say, "you want to know if you can trust that I won't take you back to court. No wonder you're worried because you were going to play dirty with me" Why didn't I see that coming??? The reasonable part of me wants to wait patiently and see if he's legit....BUT I want to set up a new court date just in case, but what if that sets him off and he won't settle.
I keep taking off for work on these days and they keep changing....maybe I should tell him if I get fired his child support will skyrocket!!!
I'm so confused and angry!
