This weekend sucks. Kinney26: My stbx's birthday is on Tuesday. I guess she is going to dinner on Sunday with friends for her birthday. Guess who won't be there. Also my niece's birthday party is this weekened. Of course it is my sister in laws daughter, so once again, guess who isn't invited. These things hurt because I feel like I am supposed to be there, but I can't be.

I know the feeling. My mother-in-law's birthday was last Sunday and I was the odd man out.
It did seem weird. I went to a movie instead and tried to put it out of my mind.
I'd do the same thing if you could.
At the same time, are you thinking of helping your son get a gift for her for her birthday. That would be a nice gesture--but somewhat painful!

Re:This weekend sucks. Tantan: Its so hard to get through all the special days, and holidays. My first one was our anniversary, he moved out April 16 and our anniversary was April 17........since that there has been mothers day and fathers day, some holidays, my childrens birthdays and a freinds wedding that I didnt attend and he did. I keep thinking about christmas and how hes going to bring her to his work christmas party.......for some reason the thought of that really bothers me.
I guess we have to take one at a time.
I feel lost today.
