She is most likely living a fairy tale. I think most people who have affairs are looking for a fairy tale type of love, which really doesnt exist.
I actually read on DR.Phils web site ( I like him, even though many dont) that a relationship that starts out as an affair has only a 5% chance of survival. They gave up everything for a relationship that is not going to work.
Hon, we all make mistakes, we all have dark sides, no matter what you would have done she would have most likely had this affair and left anyway. Im convinced that some people just have that in them.
