Couldn't disagree more. Being a sucker does not equal distance and immunity. To me, to even consider that would be a sign that he isn't over it. These 2 quotes I have to respond to.
Just becasue he doesn't give her the money doesn not mean he's trying to "make her pay"
and just becasue he doesn't give her the money DEFINATELY doesn't mean he's not over her.
I am completely over my ex, I don't hold a grudge or wish ill upon him. In fact we are on pretty friendly terms.
If he were to ask me for a favor like that I would laugh so hard I'm sure I'd pee a little! Not happening, not ever. Not becasue I'm not over him...or becasue I want to see him suffer....but becasue he is nothing but a distant relation now, an aquaintence so to speak.....I certainly wouldn't be giving or even lending that kind of money to anyone else in that position.....why on earth would I for him?
Now it might be different if he called and needed to be bailed out of jail or it was a matter of life or death sort of thing...then I'd most likely help out. I mean I'm not heartless ::) but to start a business?? Nope, nadda, not in a million.....we just aren't "that" close anymore. Even HE wouldn't be stupid enough to ask!
She has balls alright.....and he absolutely did the right thing. Why help her out? Help someone who deserves it.
