I actually am comfortable with what he's already proposed,since, to be fair, he's taking a bit more than his fair share of our debts. He is very anal about his credit being squeaky clean, so I have no doubts that he will pay as he should (again, still getting it in writing though). I earn more than he does, but he obtains more money through the gov't, I'm thinking that child support would actually be less than what the gov't doles out to her now. I think my mom's attitude stems from the fact that my own father paid her a pittance every month and was never much of a father (and still isn't, I haven't seen him or heard from him in almost 7 years), so it's her issue to get over...
