em effing jiffy lube! craez: those douche bags at jiffy lube d@mn near caused my car to blow up two years ago. i didn't go back until this weekend because i was too scared they'd goof up. well, they DID!!!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!! they overcharged me for service. they were supposed to credit back my card and recharge the correct price. but of course not! they double charged me. my rent is due this weekend. they basically took my rent. i'm getting up early in the morning and hightailing it to the bank. what a royal pain in my @SS!!!!!!! i HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
sidenote: i really need to learn more about basic car maintenance. or maybe i should just show up at jiffy lube with a bazooka and a grenade launcher.

I've used them twice and though I've never had them screw my car up (Walmart will do it in a heartbeat, btw), they treat me like I'm an idiot and try to sell me everything under the sun that my car doesn't need. I feel badly for those that go in there who have no clue about maintenance - most likely, they end up getting screwed.

Re: em effing jiffy lube! 2be: I took my old Prelude to Jiffy Lube back in college because I didn't have time to do it myself. They did the standard oil change and I asked them to flush/fill the auto tranny fluid, too.
Well, about 5 days later, the tranny seized on me. Turns out the morons didn't tighten the transmission drain bolt and it all leaked out. I KNEW it was them but couldn't prove it... cost me $1200 to get it repaired.
Jerks.
