Re: Valentines Day is going to be a long one.... pisces22: I have really enjoyed reading all your messages about valentine's day - it warms the heart seeing that complete strangers can brighten each other's days. I will be alone (literally) for Valentine's Day and then my birthday a week later.(I'm turning 35 - do I kicked off this site? ;)  I moved to this city b/c of my ex husband's job and I don't know a lot of people. But.... this is what I am telling myself - it is better to be alone physically on valentine's day than to be with someone who doesn't love and honour who I am. Iwould be alot more lonely with him. So I am going to make cupcakes for my students and come home and call my friends - maybe even buy myself flowers (and have a cry I am sure.)
Re: Valentines Day is going to be a long one.... whythisnow: Pisces22,

Don't get too down.  I spent the last two V-days alone.  I gave my daughter great gifts.  I always feel better when I give other people stuff.
So make yourself some plans with a great bottle of wine, good book, good movie and a wonderful dinner.  Pamper yourself with a spa or massage.

jmarie,

I looked at those and like the XOX one with a small diamond in the middle and the t&Co tag with a diamond.  I gave her some of the sterling braclets already as gifts.  I want to connect the pendent with the diamond stud earrings I gave her for X-mas.

Blue,

I am going to make the card myself.  I have joted down a few lines, here and there, over the last month when I really miss her on my biz travel.
They come from the heart and really describe how I feel about her.

I am going to skip the flower and just do the jewerly, champagne, chocolate and home made card.  This is the first V-day in about 6 years that I am excited about.  Must be new love...LOL

FIDO

PS
She always tells me I spoil her.
