You are not in court, nor did you go to court to be apart of this childs life?
Sorry man but if I had mutual frieds that knew my ex and my ex was in fact not allowing me to be apart of my childs life I would stop at nothing.....

I'm sorry for posting a glib reply without taking the time to read your story first. I guess that's what happens when I make assumptions, eh? ;)
Believe it or not, I do understand your situation, albeit from the opposite side of the coin. I'm not really sure what to tell you here. Do you want to be involved in your daughter's life? If you do, do you have any idea what that involvement would look like?
The fact that you're still carrying the torch for your ex complicates things. You could be opening Pandora's box if you pursue this.
