Change of lifestyle? recentlydiscarded: I talked to my mom on the phone last night and told her that I had lost faith in love and would never trust another man with my heart again. I then jokingly told her that maybe I would just switch my preference and only date women. She laughed and said "Wouldnt that be a blow to HIS ego?"
We got a good laugh out of it . Then I started thinking about how funny it would be to tell everyone we know that he turned me gay...or better yet that he was gay. I know that's bad but it is kinda funny because he is Mr. Macho Man America . Of course it's just a fantasy but it felt good to laugh :)
Re:Change of lifestyle? JTS: I think it is funny that you brought this up because it did happen to me. Four months after I filed my ex began telling people that the reason I had filed was that I was gay. Apparently it had nothing to do with either of her boyfriend over the previous six months while we were working on our marriage. Her friends that knew me thought it was hilarious because she had told them things about us in the past. (A great ego boost when I finally found out that she had shared this info ;D) I was shocked and mad at first but then decided to have fun with it. I would just that I had decided to go with the saner sex. Within 3 days she stopped the rumors.
