Anyway ISO, I don't entirely agree with what you are saying because even if it was same sex I don't believe that the paradigms have to be the same or similar. There is a great book I read, obviously too late for my marriage, called The Five Languages of Love that reaaly made me think along these lines. I discovered that I communicated in Acts of Service while the ex was Words of Affection so even though it felt like to me that I was showering her with affection she was feeling nothing. Same could hold true for same sex relationships. Communication is not gender biased.
There now we are both downers. :D

That is an interesting point, especially since I for one am not a typical girl when it comes to communication styles. So that really might make better sense (not a well thought out opinion on my part, just kinda off the cuff obsevation...kinda like my socioeconomic theory regarding the purchase of soft drinks)...
But thanks for making me not the only downer in the room!

Now I haven't officially started the rumor, but I've mentioned it! Even before the split and I thought things were OK - I thought my ex was a closet gay man. I have lots of reasons (all really small but when you add them all up??) Many reasons are a little intimate I don't want to share here. I mentioned it once to his sister and she agreed with me! I don't know?...??
