The bill is entirely his, in his name, etc. It was $20 extra to add each phone, but it is still under his name and my phone is not actually associated with me. We did it this way because he gets a discount from his employer. If I wanted to, I could give him back the phone at any time and he would be stuck paying for an unused phone until the contract is up, so I really don't care what he does with it ... it just irks me that his mother may actually help him pay that bill.

Tania, I even give him gas money if I use his car. My SIL doesn't think I should give him anything, but like I said, I want to make sure he knows I am completely independent and don't need him (except for the child support!) Anyway, I find the SAME thing as you - somehow, even with three kids to support, I actually have more money now that he is gone!

Guess so! Since the phones were in my name I cancelled hers.... Left mine on though.
Havent heard anything from her yet, but sure I will soon. Caller ID is a great thing..
