Yeah, I sure do have a success story for you...

FRIENDS...they helped turn me around. And they don't have to be close buddies of yours...they could even be aquatences..or co-workers. Once you get out of the house [even though you feel like hiding..I know, I have been there"> and start talking to people about how you feel, and try to just get them to cheer you up, it works wonders.
I was miserable, locking myself up for the longest time once my ex husband wanted that divorce and I gave it to him.
But once I got a new job, and started meeting new people, my mind drifted away from that depression rather quickly...
You need people. Just like my signature says, "I can't save myself...without the help of others."
Just today I went into work really depressed about my ex [since he recently contacted me"> and two co-workers of mine just sat around joking with me on break...it was great...it lifted my spirits. And whenever my mind went back to thinking about my ex..they noticed and said to me, "Hey, it will be okay...just don't think about it for now...everything is going to be alright" and then give me a reassuring smile. Sure, its not much, but it can help you heal.
Just talking with people in the forums can be a great help too, but its really good to sit down, have a cup of coffee with somebody and just laugh and joke about whats on TV, or in the papers, or whatever.
It can really get your mind off your depression and make a difference for you ;)
