Re:Had a couple of songs make me cry today... Sparky: Oh boy...
I hear you about the crying-it's like a full on waterfall. When I cry now, there are moments where I feel like I can't stop it, the sadness is so bottomless. I lost my two big gray cats when we seperated-they're brothers. I miss them sooo much! Yep, I ain't got nobody...not even a cat.
Hang in there, it does get better

Re:Had a couple of songs make me cry today... Matt: I agree sparky,

Thats how it was yesterday.. Man, I was shocked I did..

I guess because I know/feel like i'm over her. I've come to terms with what she did, ended it , and have moved on.. Her behaviour and whereabouts are

The reason I cry is more for my little cat/cats.... Geeze, I'm going to get my cowboy hat taken away from me for admitting that... But I really miss him.. Funny little beast that he is..

Like you I have nobody... But in a wierd way thats good..

Going my own way..

Matt

Re:Had a couple of songs make me cry today... recentlydiscarded: On the way to my sister's I had myself a good long cry session (it takes 3 hours to get here). Every song that came on seemed to remind me of him but one especially brought me to tears. It was a song by Sara Mclaughlin(sp?) called "Angel". Ive always loved the song but never have been brought to such emotions and tears from hearing it. Luckily my son was asleep for most of the drive so he didnt get to see mom break down.

My husband was also a huge Three Doors Down fan..so whenever one of their songs comes on the radio (which happens allll the d@mn time) my son says "Daddy! Daddy!" and starts dancing. Totally gut-wrenching :(
Re:Had a couple of songs make me cry today... in_search_of: They are going to take your cowboy hat away for crying for the cat!

but really, we all have those days, I am tough I don't cry and sometimes its just too much and it comes, and there is nothing that we can do about it!

*Hugs*
Re:Had a couple of songs make me cry today... trumpy: allright i'll admit a couple of those songs get me going once in a while, but crying over a cat, even if he did act like a dog, a cat just isn't a dog. maybe you just had something in your eye.

anyway "whiskey lullaby, let's be us again and that one that the chorus inlcudes ' and i wish you still loved me... are the toughest for me.

i caught myself crying a little in the damn grocery store one time...

the thing that sucks for me the most is that my stbx wife mentioned those songs to me first- saying how much they remind her of our situation-- and that she cries sometimes- and i just want to scream- then why are we here!!!
