Re:Looking for exercise buddies sadinct: Kelly-

I belong to a karate studio in town. working out with others motivates me and make it fun to stay in shape. Try to go 3-4 times a week.. the hardest part is starting!

Also, I've made some of my closest friends there- I highly remcommend it.

Best wishes-

Re:Looking for exercise buddies clambakesX: Okay, I'm in - I swam 1500 meters this morning.

FWIW, being nagged etc doesnt motivate me at ALL - being able to post after the fact does! Anyone else operate that way?

Re:Looking for exercise buddies SherylLynn: I lost 25 pounds during our separation and have just maintained over the summer.

I need to post here when I have actually done someting, that is really motivating.

Re:Looking for exercise buddies LettinGo: Hey Sheryl that is great that you maintained that loss!

I only lost ten pounds, and gained two back. :-\

I am okay with my weight, I just want to maintain where I am at (although I could stand to lose another ten pounds). I am afraid that when I am past all of this and just plain lonely, I will turn to food for comfort.

Anyway, I started this post over a month ago and still haven't exercised - lol.

Re:Looking for exercise buddies clambakesX: Checking in ... swam again on Friday 10/8 and this morning.

I lose track of counting laps - anyone have tricks there?

I'm pretty happy with my body. Would like more muscle in my arms + abs, but first I have to concentrate on just getting in aerobic exercise a few times a week.
