I am boiling mad! Magalucia: I just got a call from a man who I thought was one of the best influences in my husband's life and eventually learned was his drinking/drug using buddy. I also learned in time that he was horribly abusive to his wife. She was a stay at home mom and scared to death of him and also scared of leaving. I guess she finally got the courage to leave and is in some sort of shelter or safe place where he cannot find her. He called me to see if I knew where she was. He actually said he wants to speak with her before those "crazy social workers brain wash her". If this guy had been in front of me I think I would have kicked him in the groin. As it is all I could do was tell him not to call me.

Well, I had the opportunity but no the balls (so to speak). :-[
Anyway, this guy just showed up at my house out of no where. I actually tried to ignore him at the door but he would not leave so I opened the door and he said he just wanted to stop by for a visit. Is he nuts? I am not his friend. He started rambling on about how the main problem in his marriage was lack of communication, how he tried to communicate but his wife just would not communicate with him. Yeah, I can imagine that the drinking, and drugs and other women were just little side issues, it was his wife's lack of communication skills that ruined things! Right! Oh this guy is something else. He tried to convince me that she drove him to what he did. I told him that I thought he needed a huge mirror, some major soul searching and some serious help, but I wasn't going to be able to help him so he should just leave. He told me that I was too screwed up by the breakup of my marriage to see his perspective. Yeah, that must be it. A$$hole! >:( >:( >:(
God, I hope he never comes back around here! Where do these men come from? It is amazing to me how self-deluded some people can be. I hope something nasty bites him in the scrotum like in that kids' book librarians won't stock.
