Are you kidding me?
.

Are you kidding me? ctrlaltdelete: So how many of you out there believe that Prince's halftime concert at the Superbowl ended with a silouette performance intended to be a subliminal phallic reference?  It's all over the news - WTF?

For cryin' out loud... doesn't anybody have anything better to do than make this junk up? I mean, I'm not a huge fan of Prince - I think he's a bit "off center" for my taste, but IMHO his concert was perfectly acceptable. The people who came up with that probably sit in their basements listening to records backwards.  Come on people...

Does anyone else think this is ridiculous and a waste of "news" or is it just me?

Society in general is bored.  We're well fed, well housed and don't have to worry from day to day about waking up dead (speaking generally here).  When the majority of people in a polity somewhere reach this stage, they start looking for or inventing turmoil to pass the time.  Without conflict, man invents conflict for himself.  We seem to crave friction as a species.
Re: Are you kidding me? JimB: Speaking of which, how about the "controversy" over the Snickers ad?  Apparently they pulled it from additional airings because the gay community was offended....
